In November 2021, Wiki Movimento Brasil inaugurates a reevaluation of the strategy established 5 years ago, given the evolution of its performance capacity. The new process will be approved by the WMB membership at a general meeting. The elaboration of the strategy will last one year, with approval also at the general assembly. It will rely on a collaborative methodology, to ensure equity in organizational decision-making processes. This new strategy reflects the WMB's experience and expanding capabilities to develop and conduct large-scale projects. The new strategy intends to incorporate WMF's Strategic Movement 2030 recommendations, so that the WMB is in tune with the Wikimedia movement's transformation. After its approval, the new strategy will be implemented until 2024. In addition to revisiting the WMB's mission, vision and values statements, the strategy will establish axes for activities to be carried out over the next few years. This will include emphasis on the WMB's vision of impact on the free knowledge ecosystem and the Wikimedia movement more broadly. The process will be conducted by the WMB's professional staff, with active participation of associate members and consultation with stakeholders, such as the Portuguese-speaking community, institutional partners and free knowledge organizations.
